Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

12 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Hey, Im having winter tires put on my 996 C4S tomorrow. Has anyone ever fit 4 tires inside to get the summers home? Wondering if I need someone to come with me to put them in their car.

POST 2Original post

No. Will not fit, nor should they. Pickup, van or SUV. Not your 911.

POST 3Original post

If it’s just tires I’d say it can be done but not positive. But with on wheels it might be tricky. Better off having some one with a truck or suv

POST 4Original post

The tires are approx 26” tall and wide. Use a tape measure to check interior dimensions of your car. And then visualize your roof liner with tread jizz on it forever.

POST 5Original post

Im guessing the 2 fronts in the back seat, one rear in the front seat and maybe the other rear in the frunk. Frunk may only work if u have a c2 and leave the spare at home. u could always pull the passenger seat, its only 4 bolts.

POST 6Original post

I posted in the spring asking for opinion on a standard poodle (Royal) fitting in a 911. For the record, a standard poodle will not fit comfortably in the back of a 911. His legs end up by the shifter lol. I do not think wheels will fit.

POST 7Original post

Yes, one in the frunk, one on the passenger seat, two laying flat in the back. I have a brand new 18" X 10" wheel sitting on the passenger seat, seat belted, will be installed tomorrow.

POST 8Original post

I've done it many times in my '03 C4S (with 315s in the back!). All four in the cabin; three in the back & 1 in the pass seat. It's kind of a Rubik's cube ... but once you know, you know.

POST 9Original post

Been there, done that, multiple times with all four in the cabin.

sounds like some here get em to fit. I'd prefer something like this....

POST 11Original post

If you have a roof rack you can put them on there...Google pics showing people doing this.

Seats up or down in the back?
