Any suggestions on the abc�s of determining reason for warning light or how to cure ? i haven�t been around for a while but now that it�s driving season, I�ll be here daily with Q and A�s

Have you adjusted the latch? I'm assuming you're talking about the engine lid. Look to see the latch where the trunk striker locks into. You can loosen the bolts on the latch and adjust the latch lower so that the trunk will close tighter. You might have to find the sweet spot so that the warning light will go away but you dwon't have to slam the trunk shut.
