Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

I have been looking at all the photos you guys have been posting of all your sweet p cars and all I can do is feel envious 'cause I can't damn drive mine ... thats because I'm out at sea floating... So I thought I post some pix of the action out here up on our roof for all you folks

POST 2Original post

It's because of guys like you that we can drive our cars everyday. Thanks, and keep up the good work.

POST 3Original post

Awesome pics!! What great experience for and my hats off to you for your courage and commitment.

POST 4Original post

Brings back the memories......my Dad was a USAF Fighter Pilot with more than 5K flight hours (F16,F15,F4,Thunderbirds,A7,F117 Stealth Fighter, etc, etc, etc) and I practically lived at the flightline in awe of these beautiful machines. I think that is the reason I have the adrenaline gene and love my P-Car so much GREAT PICS....thanks for sharing!!!!

POST 5Original post

I'll let you drive my car if you let me fly one of those planes!

POST 7 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Again, Thank you for all the kind words! It's our honor to serve! I grew up(my young years in the navy) on that flight deck and still get the kicks after 20 years!

POST 19Original post

Navy sucks...sorry had to write this.... was in the Marines for 8 years....and couldn't stop myself from writing what we always said to our Navy colleges when they gave us a "ride"....AND OF COURSE I AM KIDDING!!! GREAT SHOTS.....I HAVE BEEN WATCHING A LOT OF THE MILITARY CHANNEL...but images are always better by the ones who live the life!! Goodluck and get home safe!!

POST 20Original post

Those photos are great!! Thank you for the job your doing!!!

POST 21Original post

Correct me if I am wrong but isn't the Marines a part of the Navy? Don't you have to go to "their" Academy? Sounds a bit arrogant if you ask me, but then again I will never understand the psyche of the jarhead......ho-rah. Obviously, I am j/k, I like to see the pride each of the services exhibit. And we need each and EVERY branch to do the job.

POST 22 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I've noticed that there are a few of you here that also served. Here are a few more pix.

POST 24Original post

It struck me once watching a B-1 going vertical right over our heads at an airshow that jets are the real "big boy toys". 0-148 in 2 seconds kinda makes cars seem puny. Thanks again for sharing and please pass on my thanks to your fellow crewmen.

POST 25Original post

Awesome shots! Make some great screensavers if you had big versions? You guys are great, thanks for all your doing. God Bless you all

POST 26Original post

Hats off Carrera Mike, While your off saving the world, just think of the miles your Porsche is NOT accumulating.... Just lovingly waiting for your return Thanks for all you do!!

POST 27Original post

Thanks for the pix, and doing the country proud. When you get out consider a career in photography, you take great photos. Love your use of depth of field and content is awesome.

POST 28Original post

I spent 6 years in the Navy in two F/A-18 squadrons. I was in VFA192 and VFA97. I was an AT Troubleshooter and spent typically 12-14 hors a day on the deck when we were at sea. I had a great time and miss the adrenaline rush some times. I posted 1 pic of us working on the deck. Keep your head on a swivel and return home safe! Pat

POST 30Original post

Mike: thank you and your family for the job you do. As an old HMCSW serving with the fleet and FMF I remain amazed by the support and strength of the family at home. Get in touch if you are ever in the Pacific Northwest.

POST 31Original post

Yes Dell... we were(are) part of the navy......and in the Netherlands, we are even supported by the Navy in most administrative functions because we have only about 3000 active marines (what the hell was I thinking when I joined them!!??) because of this low number in Dutch Marines we are in time of war a part of the English Marines and part of NATO. Anyway I was young, dumb and full of...... now I am older (and left the marines about 15 years ago) and know better...or do I???? I love all those images.....eventhough not Porsches still speed and power!!

POST 32Original post

Wow - great pics. Thanks for the job you do out there and put down that camera before something bad happens while you are framing one of those great images. Get home soon.

POST 33 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

GCohen, GBG, Joe in CA, Rob in CA, Roberga & All(too many to mention) Those are heart warming words! I'm proud to do it for folks like you who appreciates what we do and all of you who expressed support and concern to the troops, THANK YOU VERY MUCH!!.. Pat F. I was in 4 diff squadrons before, but this time, I'm with AIMD. Hey thats an awesome shot you have there..although it looks like that that Tomcat should have been "waved off" 10 secs earlier!!

POST 34Original post

Seeing as he is showing red on the indicator, he was probobly waved off or had a bolter at best. It is amazing to me how comfortable I got with stuff like that all around you everyday. One nice thing about AIMD is the air conditioning. When we were in the IO and it was 90+ degreees, we took many extended trips to AIMD to get parts. That air con in Avionics AIMD was ice cold.

POST 37Original post

CVN 65? That's a cruise ship. CVA 60 is an Aircraft Carrier. Good photos of the operations crew. Thanks!

POST 38Original post

Very nice pictures! Submitted two pictures. Not american, but could be interesting for those who like military hardware. JAS 39 Gripen firing an AMRAAM Two stealth built corvettes (quite unique)

POST 40 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post
