This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

9 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

Has anyone had this problem?? I don't think it's the sunroof drains could it be anything else??

POST 2Original post

Check all of your drains. You cannot "think" this one through. You have water under the carpet on back seat.

POST 3Original post

Check this thread too... https://rennlist.com/forums/996-foru...rain-help.html

POST 4 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Thanks guys I'll have another look, water seems to be the most where the end of the number one drain is on the diagram

POST 5 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

So is everyone saying it's still a nailed on sunroof drain problem if back seat wet under carpet ?? Is that the only cause!

POST 6Original post

Yes, pretty much so....unless your rear window seal is leaking. And that is unlikely. So yes, it comes down to the drains. Because water leaks past the sunroof seal. Why do you think they put drains there in the first place?

POST 7Original post

IMMEDIATELY check to make sure your immobilizer under the driver seat has no water in it . !!!!!! Remove the driver seat get hte immobiliser out and make sure it is dry. This will be a minimum $1000 repair IF you can do yourself and up to $5000 if you have the dealer do it.

This sounds like the AC condensate drain is plugged though I'm not familiar with a 997.
