These are separate views of the same evidence. Frequency alone does not establish a fix, and these counts must not be added together.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

4 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

  • Rennlist: 1 discussions

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Originally posed in 993 forum but may be this becker unit came in some later 911s like 996. Updated my 993 with the cdr22 unit awhile back to have AUX option, but no manual came with it. Trying to find out if there is a submenu to control sound/volume setting within the AUX option. I can find aux on off toggle. Am using the TranzitBlu module to allow BT streaming- but when i BT music from iphone the sound is very reduced. Discount stereo suggesting there is a setting in the headunit that can be adjusted. Anyone have this model or other help bill

POST 2Original post

Not too sure about your question but I can confirm that even the CDR-21 by Becker came in the earliest 996/986. Quite a nice looking unit as well and quite expensive from what I have seen on eBay!

I've never known of any signal boost on the older Beckers. The signal input on the Becker is a line-level and so probably 0 to +4db. I would think the problem would be the signal output of the TranzitBlu. Plus, Bluetooth devices also have means of remotely lowering output from the phone. I was having similar problems with low volume. I would turn the radio up wide open, but the sound was almost impossible to hear. I realized the phone volume was set to minimum.

POST 4 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Thx. I have the BT volume on phone all the way up. Its very audible in the car just unable to get anything near loud. Just maxes out at 40 on the volume control.
