Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Mine fits into the above type...But I have a confession...it's not actually 911 GRS...it's B11 GRS - with a mounting screw cover strategically placed to...how shall I say, 'alter' the apearance....added to a slightly 'altered' typeface used for the B/9!!

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

20 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I've had my C4S for a few months now...and decided to go for a good drive through the Highlands of Scotland...I took a few pics along thwe way, and thought I'd share them. These are some of the best roads I've driven...fantastic! (If i've goofed by posting linked photos, please let me know...)

POST 2Original post

come to the states and drive the Rockies......you'll be knocked out!!!!

POST 3Original post

Very nice car, great choice with the body kit and wheels.

POST 4 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

It's on my list of 'things to do before I get too old'! Along with a drive up Pikes Peak, a few laps of the 'ring, a trackday at Spa etc... Spa and the 'ring may even happen this year...if all goes to plan. As for the Rockies...that'll have to wait a while... Do you know anyone that'll lend me a C4S to play in, when I make it over? No? Damn...

POST 9Original post

Great car, and especially great to see it out on roads that are cold and wet!!!

POST 10 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Glad people like the pics and the choice of car! Pic 3: is probably my favourite road...this is a section about half way along it's length...just before it there are a series of hairpin bends with 1:5 / 20% climbs...just after it - over the brow of the hill - a ski resort. It's been my favourite bit of road for years...here's a pic of my old ITR on the same bit of road, from 2000: I'm really happy with the way the car turned out - both to look at and to drive. It got the C4S / Turbo Aerokit and GT3 style wheels (obviously) and the X73 chassis pack and PSE with sports tailpipes. This is my first Porsche...so I'm as happy as a big happy thing at the moment!

POST 11Original post

Hey I love the pics do you have them in a higher resolution. I would like to add them to my picture collection. Amazing roads.

POST 12Original post

Ess_Three - great car and pics! What's the story with your license plate number? I thought that you guy's didn't have personalised plates, but I'm guessing you weren't just lucky in that you got "911" as part of your number! Did you purchase that registration number from someone else?

POST 14 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Thanks... We do have personilsed plates...but there are various different types. You can buy an old plate...perhaps something like 911 HUL (Porsche GBs plate) but it'll cost you an arm and a leg. Or, you can buy directly from the Government...within their guidelines...such as Prefix letters A, B, C, D, E, F etc 1, 2 or 3 numbers Then 3 letters.. So, if you are lucky, you may be able to get a plate that is meaningful...but you are not allowed to miss-space them, or alter the letters / numbers to read something else...all very confusing! Mine fits into the above type...But I have a confession...it's not actually 911 GRS...it's B11 GRS - with a mounting screw cover strategically placed to...how shall I say, 'alter' the apearance....added to a slightly 'altered' typeface used for the B/9!! From certain angles, it's pretty convincing: If I were sticking to the rules, it should look like this: In saying all this...i'll just about get pulled now and given a ticket...

POST 16Original post

WTF!!! Your on the wrong side of the road man! Just kidding. I took a motorcycle all over England and Scotland and Wales a number of years ago and Scotland was definately my favourite both in scenery, people and roads. I have a friend that owns a B&B in Pittlochry if you are every up that way - very nice area. Thanks for sharing. Barry

POST 17Original post

I was driving in Scotland last summer (in a rental unfortunately). Tight twisty roads and gorgeous scenery. Very inviting for spirited drives, especially as there is little traffic. But all the sheep were spoiling it. How do you keep the momentum?

POST 18 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Light traffic, very few police cars...and no speed cameras! The Highlands are very good in that way I think the sheep are time of year dependant...I didn't see a single sheep the day I took the photos. In summer, we see them though...but I guess we're kinda used to driving where sheep are, so you just keep your eyes peeled and brake pedal covered...sometimes you end up hitting one though. Or a Deer. Or a Pheasant. Not ideal.

POST 19Original post

Me too!!! That would make a nice desktop pic :P
