Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

6 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I want to change my oil before a DE this weekend. Where can I safely jack up the rear of the car with a single jack. I'd like to let the car sit level overnite and let the oil really drain out. One jack point would be a lot easier then having to jack each side up for a jack stand. Thanks. Ken

POST 2Original post

You do not need to jack up the car. Get on your back and you can remove the plug and filter quite easily.

POST 3Original post

I drive mine up on 4 18 inch long 2 x 6's. Gives me a little more room to work, and the car stays nice and level.

POST 5Original post

That's exactly what I do. Up on two 1 inch boards about 2 feet long. Works just fine.

POST 6 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Common sense is not lost. Thanks for the replies. Ken
