Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

10 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

  • Rennlist: 1 discussions

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Hi everyone! I usually post in the 997 forums however I've gotten an itch for a 996 C4S Found this one for sale and it has a lot of interesting options. Not everyone is into odd colors however it's kind of my thing. Does anyone know about this? Seems to be sitting for some time thanks! http://www.eurostarautos.com/vehicle...lersite#ar_top

POST 2Original post

Normally not a fan of the gray interior but this one looks pretty nice with all the extras. It's been in an accident though and doesn't have PSE. I think you might can get them down a couple grand in price but it did have a pretty high MSRP. Exterior color is awesome IMO.

POST 3Original post

Rare color, very nicely optioned, and with relatively low miles. Id say it is priced fairly. Any idea on service history?

POST 4Original post

Carfax shows three (3) separate "damage reports" but no accidents? Haven't see that before. Anyway I'm sure you could get $2,000 or possibly $3,500 knocked off the price.

POST 5Original post

Are those PCCB, or just yellow painted calipers? If PCCB, that's a nice upgrade. Nice looking car (but I'm also not a fan of grey interiors).

POST 6Original post

Just calipers painted in yellow, according to options list. I checked LN and it shows no IMS upgrades for this VIN.

POST 7Original post

Thanks, somehow I missed that, but as soon as you pointed it out I can see it now. Definitely a very personalized build and I can see why it might not appeal to all buyers. But if you like the options, it's a beauty.

POST 8Original post

There's an insanely spec'd cabriolet for sale at Maserati of Virginia Beach. If I hadn't just bought mine, I would seriously consider this one. I can't wait until they post interior images. https://www.maseratiofvirginiabeach....CA29954S653537

Whew! That is a pretty insane build. Wish it was a coupe:-/ The one I posted has my favorite 996 wheels too! Basically I've never owned a 911 and have been set on getting a 997.2, watching prices for them over the past year or so. Figure prices are fairly stable now on both the 996.2 6MT and 997.2 C4S PDK, which are the two I really like. Got to thinking a 996.2 C4S would be a nice entry into the Porsche world as I keep seeing this one around town and it catches my eye with that sexy turbo body. The best thing to do is simply make more money haha. That said a 996 would let me keep my current ride, VW GTI, and have that as a second car. For some reason the 997.1 just doesn't do it for me..but neighbor bought his 997.1 in immaculate condition with the desirable options for $25K + 3 year warranty. He lucked out!
