Read evidence and context
Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

0 original-poster resolution reports. Counts can overlap; they are not unique people or a success rate.
0 discussions have direct query context; 0 report a fix in that context. Other evidence may inherit the discussion’s subject.

or any other that you can easily find online that can help you inspect the car and can possibly tell you that the damage, rodents have done is up to, which level and they can help you get rid of them so that the rodents could not damage it more.
Leading evidence: 'Inspect car and can possibly tell you' (no explicit attributable resolution; this is a reported action or suggestion). Across 1 matching discussions, The most frequently discussed action is 'Inspect car and can possibly tell you' (1 discussions). For that action, 0 discussions report a resolution and 0 report an unsuccessful attempt. No action has an explicit, attributable resolution report under the current rules. These are forum reports and suggestions, not a confirmed diagnosis.

Suggestion
In another case, a Cayman, I don't believe there was any engine wiring harness damage but the critters had chewed holes in the rubber sheeting that helps form the radiator ducts and through some of the plastic lines that run from the front to the back and which carried gasoline vapor.
These are separate views of the same evidence. Frequency alone does not establish a fix, and these counts must not be added together.

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Just purchased a bit of a basket case. Rodents made the engine bay their home and I cannot find where some wires go. The harness portion is the one from the passenger's side body harness that has the airflow meter connector in it. I cannot tell where the other wires went to other than three that went to a 6 position bullet style connector. I need to find where they go before I can continue finding out its other faults.

KC: I was trying very hard not to bait GONZO.(pun intended) Just wanted to see how efficient his automatic scanner was that he has set to "rodent, mice, mouse, vermin" and many others.
Those evil dirty little rodents, sorry to see that happened to you. Hopefully you can get it all patched up quick. Ill take a look at my wiring and see if I can be of any assistance.
Came upon a 996 Turbo Cab in for rodent damage. The tech had to drop the engine to replace the engine wiring harness and some rubber/plastic lines that the critters has gnawed through.
There was some interior damage to as areas of the carpets had been scraped smooth of the carpet nap to make a nest. A/C vent tubes had been chewed through. The rodents gnawed a tunnel through the interior of the car to the engine compartment. A real mess.
The car owner had to make a claim on his home owners policy to cover the cost of the repair.
In another case, a Cayman, I don't believe there was any engine wiring harness damage but the critters had chewed holes in the rubber sheeting that helps form the radiator ducts and through some of the plastic lines that run from the front to the back and which carried gasoline vapor.
But even in this case the owner had to fall back on his home owner insurance to cover the cost of the repairs.
The two wires that are going to the banks with the red pieces are your O2 sensors. May make sense to just buy new o2 sensors. I have read that it is not good to splice them.
I think one of them may be the the connector for the electrics in the deck lid.
I'll look tonight to confirm.
If you end up needing a complete engine wiring harness, I have one from a 2000 C4. I may also have some of the other pieces, but I don't want to step on JFerrante's toes.
JFerrante couldn't help. If you work backwards from the engine harness connectors there is a branch out of the main harness that feeds the AFM and the rest is missing. Ideally I need from the main harness out with all the plugs.
Scott Bell, It may be rodents that would have chewed your wires. Have you suspected any possible signs near by your car. You should also check that from where the rodents enter your car. Are there rats in your home. You should call some professional like
