Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

20 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

  • Rennlist: 1 discussions

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

1 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

....I am a girl :-) ...just this week found this site as I needed to replace my MAS and didn't want to pay 800$ for it...so I did the first fix ever myself. So are you saying that because I don't have a million posts I am not legit? Wow. o.k.

POST 5Original post

Maybe you should read the terms you agreed to when you signed up. First, non-members CANNOT post for sale items. Hence, the reason you probably posted here instead of in the for sale forum where it should be. Second, joining a board and the first post is to hock items is a big time no-no. Too many people have been ripped off by non-known members so this is not going to be a good place for you to post your sale items.

POST 6 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

makes sense...will find the proper forum to post

POST 8Original post

And Dell, where is the standard flame for a new member with no intro and car pics...

POST 9 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I guess I will be around more now as my car is getting older and will need fixes here and there. btw....as to who I am ...a one post person....I used to run the SSF Purchasing department thru 1995 and thereafter had my own business with the likes of SSF, Worldpac, Dallas European and a like as my customers and ran my car in the Golden Gate Region of the Porsche Club & NASA :-). Thanks again. e.

POST 10Original post

jerler......I will let Tim take care of that That is more of his department now. cisco.....should you decide to stick around, 2 things. (1) don't take this personally, we are a self-policing thread and watch out for eachother and your post was really bad timing. (2) post up some pics of you ride and a brief intro and let's get back to the reason we are all here. Talking about P-Cars. See you around

POST 11 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

all my pics have too many pixels to make it :-(

POST 14Original post

Nope, didn't work. Welcome to the best Porsche site on the 'Net. OK, here are my "can't miss" instructions on how to post a pic here. BTW - these instructions have NEVER failed to help a newbie post a pic, so the pressure is on you to keep the string going! All words shown in BOLD indicate buttons. If you are just doing a "Quick Reply" you will have to click on Go Advanced button. Then follow the steps below: Down below the part of the screen where you type the text and below the Submit Reply and the Preview Post and Spell Check buttons, there is a Miscellaneous Options section followed by an Attach Files section. In the Attach Files section, click on the Manage Attachments button. You will now get a pop-up window. There are 3 buttons Browse , Upload , and Close this Window . Click on the Browse button and now (in a new pop-up window) you can search on your PC to locate the pic you want to attach. Click on the name of the file you want and then click the Open button. Now click on the Upload button. After the file has been uploaded, you can click on Browse button and repeat the process to upload another pic or click on the Close this Window button. After you click on the Close this Window , you will be back to the original "message" screen. Your pic file should be listed just above the Manage Attachments button. If you are finished typing the text, you can click on the Submit Reply button and everyone will be able to see your great looking P-car! If your pics are too large, you can resize them with MS Paint, or PhotoShop software, or you can do it online at this web site. http://www.resize2mail.com/

POST 16Original post

How do you add text in between or after pics?

POST 17Original post

Nice looking P-car! Thanks for posting the pics.

POST 18Original post

Just type in the text before or after the the image information. Great looking car!! Thanks for being a good sport over the "ribbing". We can be a little tough on newbies.

POST 19Original post

Ray - That will work only if you enter the link to the pics from a web site into the "text" section. However, if you copy (Upload) the pics from your hard drive, I don't think you can insert text comments between the pics. At least I haven't figured out how to do it.
