Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

1 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

  • Rennlist: 1 discussions

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

have an '02 C4 Cab narrow body 996 and found 18" chromed OEM turbo twist rims ...front fit fine....but the rear are (obviously) too wide and stick out a little now, after 12+ months of driving on them, there has been no rubbing with a tire that was a little too narrow for the rim......but now it's time to get new rubber.... will the stock/recommended (what size is that) rubber tire for the turbo rims still not rub when put on my narrow body car? are there any other concerns other than the more agressive, sticking out look ? rubbing/cutting the tire maybe? safety? resale maybe? anything else? thanks in advance... side note....the chrome on the rims peeled just a tiny tiny bit in the lug area so they are being re-chromed at no charge....i am in Houston and open to ideas for trades to other rims/tires if someone is interested in these "new" turbo twist chrome rims (before I re-install them).... brian [phone removed]
