Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

quick edit i read over lots of forums about the dansk and from what i get the super sound ones sound good but the only problem is the build isn't great.
Leading evidence: 'build isn't great' (1 discussions report identifying this cause; no attributable repair resolution). Across 1 matching discussions, the most frequently mentioned possible cause is 'build isn't great' (1 discussions; 1 report identifying it and 0 suggest it). No action has an explicit, attributable resolution report under the current rules. These are forum reports and suggestions, not a confirmed diagnosis.
Source reports, not a diagnosis or a success probability. Counts refer to discussions and can overlap.
These are separate views of the same evidence. Frequency alone does not establish a fix, and these counts must not be added together.

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

alright so after hearing a couple videos with porsches with the PSE i decided im getting it for sure. i just can't decide if i should get the one for my year or the 2002+ one since a couple people said it sounds better.(also i don't really car about the switch to turn it off or on cause it will always be on and from my understanding you can by it without the switch). now my question is should i get sport cats and headers? people say the sound would be amazing so thats what i want but now i don't know what company to get them from or even if its worth it. i checked out evolution motorsport and they have headers and sport cats for a resonable price so ill have to see. if anyone has any insight on this kind of thing please help and thanks in advance. (also im getting the v-flow air intake from evolution motorsports and the giac tuning so if anyone has any insight on that please tell)
until around maybe 4500-redline. Outside it sound great all the time. Have a friend drive by in it, you'll see. If you want more sound around town for you, get something else. If you get on it enough you will like it but it is hard to drive the car in those upper rpm limits legally. It isn't a bad choice, protects warranty etc, but it certainly isn't loud- unless you are hard on the gas AND have the rpm's up there. It works for me, just my observations.
I have a 2001 Cab with the early PSE... its supposed to sound a little raspier (i like that better) and less deep.
Its really fairly quiet with the top up and the windows shut.
With the top down its incredible.
I find it much louder when the car is cold, at least at the lower revs. The start up in the morning sounds just fantastic.
I agree its louder with how much you are on the gas rather than just the revs.
i was looking at the dansk exhuast and its pretty cheap and the headers are only 995 bucks. anyone know if dansk exhuast sounds good? theres also two of them the sport and the normal or somthing like that. quick edit i read over lots of forums about the dansk and from what i get the super sound ones sound good but the only problem is the build isn't great. fabspead has been getting a lot of raves but i noticed that most people just prefer the PSE sound over all the others. ztek i heard isn't bad either. i didn't know the sound of the exhaust could have so many variations among the different companies.
also this is a bit off topic but i have the k&N air intake right now and the car sound amazing but im going to sell it and buy the v-flow intake with the chip. my question is, is the v-flow just as loud as the K&N cause if not then the K&N stays.
Oscypek,
It sounds (no pun intended) like you are really looking for a loud exhaust. IMO, PSE may not be right for you. I have a Tubi exhaust, I love it, but I do not think that will work for you either. You may want to look at some of the other exhausts like a GHL Loud..JMO, good luck either way.
