Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I recently bought and installed a Fabspeed exhaust from Dan at Vivid Racing. He gave me an incredible price and was great to deal with. The car sounds AWESOME now! It is not too loud but just right with a nice rumble to it at idle and a growl at WOT. It also does not drone at highway speeds. At other speeds it does a little but not an issue at all. Best investment for my girl yet.

POST 2Original post

I have the Fabspeed exhaust also. I am pleased with it but i do wish at times that it was louder! I drove a 996 with the fabspeed bypass pipes and it was great!! Of course it was great for the 3 miles that I drove it and not sure if I would grow tired of it with everyday use.

POST 3Original post

I agree. MUCH better than stock and perfect about 98% of the time. The other 2% you just wish it was A LOT louder under heavy acceleration, etc. Killer mod for the old P car!

POST 4Original post

If I can ask, what kind of good deal did you receive? Thanks

POST 5Original post

So pleased with mine, and with the K&N cold air, much better tone, cant wait to get headers

POST 6Original post

I haven't been able to get a new exhaust so I clipped a baseball playing card to the left rear fender so the Turbo Twist spokes hit it. It soulds like crap but better than stock exhaust!
