I was told when they did that service that no one had changed the tranny fluid before (despite being in for 15k/30k services)!

Well, I'm not sure when they recommend it, exactly, but I figured that somewhere between 0 and the 56k or so it had on it at the time that someone would have changed it (it's been in for not just 15k and 30k, but a 45k as well, etc.) They may only recommend 90k, but trust me, the shifting feel was noticeably improved after I got it back..

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

5 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Hi All, Two or three times now my brake fluid light has come on (and the PSM off light with it) as a result of going over speedbumps (usually 2-3, at least). Is this normal? It seems fine whenever I restart the car. I had the 60k mile service done recently, so I'm hoping the brake fluid check wasn't skipped... I was told when they did that service that no one had changed the tranny fluid before (despite being in for 15k/30k services)! Cheers, Justin
