Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

I drove my car today up North on some back roads to check on my boat.
Leading evidence: 'Check on my boat' (no explicit attributable resolution; this is a reported action or suggestion). Source reports, not a diagnosis or a success probability. Counts refer to discussions and can overlap.
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

I LOVE MY CAR, but..........when I am on the highway, like this morning when I sat there and watched the odometer roll without turning, braking, shifting... Well, it feels like I am wasting the car. Now it was raining today, so the roof was not open yada yada, but local twisty roads and DEs are what really make the car a fun experience. I have had my Audi A6 4.2 for two weeks and 1300 miles and for highway cruising, it is HARD to beat! Does anybody else drive/commute in there P car on the highway and have the same feeling? The only entertainment is watching the crooked baseball cap teenagers gawking at my "ride".
Yep, I know the feeling. Sitting on the freeway going straight... Or worse, stop and go traffic.
Then again the other option is leaving it in the garage, which seems like an even bigger waste.
I would happily take your situation - I have to leave for work at 6AM or leave work after 8pm to even have a chance to open the car up in Los Angeles. There is nothing wose than having to shift back and forth between first and second gear in bumper to bumper traffic. So...while I hear what your saying, I can't offer a shoulder to cry on right now. As gnome said, not driving it at all is the "biggest waste".
I know what you mean..I try to avoid going to LA like the plague.....but sometimes I got to.....and started taking my wifes X5...which is a nice and easy ride!!
I hear 'ya. There are days when I tell myself "Take the other car!". But, somehow, my hand ends up picking the Porsche car keys. I have a Volvo, an S80T6, as 'the other car" and my winter car. It's a sofa on wheels. There are times I want to be anonymous, not be looked at or challenged to a street duel, and not drive a car that is just begging to be raced. Those times are few and far apart, but they help make me appreciate the Porsche driving experience more when I get back to the P-car.
I drove my car today up North on some back roads to check on my boat. Nice twisty roads with lots of elevation changes and the sunroof open. Now THAT is fun, I really enjoyed that kind of drive. I saw a few deer and a turkey flew from right to left 10 feet in front of my windshield at one point. Sitting on the highway for hours my C4S just feels like turning money into noise without having any fun!

I know exactly what you mean. When I lived in Dallas, my 996 was my daily driver. After moving to LA, I rarely drive the car during the week. If I'm driving in stop and go traffic, I'm more concerned with comfort, convenience, and the sound quality of the stereo.
