Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Trying to get a run together leaving from the Carlsbad Meet (last Saturday of the month at 7AM for those that aren't familiar), taking the 76 & then 79 all the way to Julian. There's more details in this thread going on at 6Speed, here's the link: http://www.6speedonline.com/forums/s...ml#post2420454 It just seems like all the good stuff is happening in LA or in North Cal. Where's all the fun San Diego P-car owners?? These fun runs & activities are what it's all about

POST 4Original post

never did this.....I live in Huntington beach and might be interested, how long is the drive?

POST 5 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Okay guys, the plan (or at least the plan I'm TRYING to set up) is to meet up on Saturday, the 27th at around 7AM at the Carlsbad Meet. For those who don't know about it or haven't gone, this video should give you an idea of what it's like: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_ZvBUZojQ4U Hopefully during the meet we can get more people to join the run... From there, at whatever time everyone is ready & eager to leave (I'm guessing somewhere around 9AM), we'll start the run. Here is the route: Basically we would take the 5-N from the meet, then get onto the 76 & follow it through the entire Palomar Mountain region until it's end, where we'd then merge onto the 79 & our end point would be downtown Julian for a rest stop & so we can have some of the best warm apple pie in the world (supposedly). Google Maps shows my route as being 73 miles long. If everyone prefers a shorter run or has any other ideas/preferences, just speak up & we can all decide on something together. So far we have 3 "maybes" on here & 2 more "maybes" on 6Speed, plus me. If all of us go, we have 6 so far. I'm hoping we can get a group of 10 to 15 P-cars from here to the date. Lets make it happen. Nicolas: Were you asking how long the drive is for you to get to the meet? Or distance of the actual run? I'll give you both. Huntington Beach to Carlsbad Outlet Mall Meet is about 60 miles. The actual run will be about 73 miles each way.

POST 7Original post

yep that would be 60+73 and back home.....so over 200 miles...with my work load at the moment and in-laws coming to town...that is not going to fly

POST 8Original post

Raphael, Still in for the Carlsbad meet, but the drive will have to be a game time decision... I'd like to drop in on the EuroCal event at Qualcomm afterward. Any interest in ending up over there? Rudy

I split it w/ a friend last time, and it was still a long time in the seat. The roads are magical though. It's like that car was made for those roads.

++1 on that one... That was one of the first places I took my car after I got her... wanted to find a nice venue for some pictures... threw the camera into the luggage compartment and the latch goblin ended up killing that idea... but a bad day for pictures in the back country is always great day to drive these fine machines! Hope to meet you soon! Rudy

POST 11Original post

Seems like a risky drive! Someone might lose a windshield!
