Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Sometimes I can fix it, after a while it is just better to change the screen.

usually you can get them to replace the windshield by saying that it impairs your vision, even if it's not cracked at all, just very marked up from stone dings.

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

I went for a real hard drive yesterday and noticed afterwards that there are stone chips all over my windscreen and front bumper. I did expect on the bumper but not the Windscreen. At first I thought they were stains but when I try to wipe them off they would not come off. They are all over my windscreen. Is there any fix to it?
Some windshield cracks can be fixed by windshield and glass companies. They can fill them with an epoxy material and polish over and they can polish out some minor scratches. I have not had one done on my car, but I think they would still be visable. You may go to some shops and see the work on finished cars.
Stone chips on windscreens are very usual here in Sweden. They use salt and sand and gravel when icy roads are coming dutng the winter. Windscreens are hardly hit.
Cracks under 10 cms can be fixed. You have to do it almost immediately to avoid that "crap" gets in the crack. When they fill it with epoxy like "goo that dries with UV light, it almost disappears. Works.
Sometimes, you can get a round one, looks like a bubble. These are the easiest to fix. Same procedure as cracks, but even more "impossible" to see.
The blasting due to sand and gravel projections can be polished out but is rather expensive... you can use some "home use" products that will help a little, but as soon as rain comes and your wipers go for a while, it goes away...
Windscreens here usually don't last more than 3-5 years. Not on any of my cars. Sometimes I can fix it, after a while it is just better to change the screen.
Good luck
most insurance policies offer free glass replacement as part of your policy so i don't think it's a big deal. usually you can get them to replace the windshield by saying that it impairs your vision, even if it's not cracked at all, just very marked up from stone dings.
