I just installed the Bahntech one-touch last night.
Leading evidence: 'Install bahntech one-touch last night' (no explicit attributable resolution; this is a reported action or suggestion). Across 1 matching discussions, The most frequently discussed action is 'Check before tapping into the wriring loom' (1 discussions). For that action, 0 discussions report a resolution and 0 report an unsuccessful attempt. No action has an explicit, attributable resolution report under the current rules. These are forum reports and suggestions, not a confirmed diagnosis.

Just installed Bahntech top control module, which allows me to open/close top with one push of the switch instead of having to hold it.

The grey/pink wire I used for the A wire to my Blaupunkt sat nav unit was in the 8 pin black connector at pin 1.

Suggestion
If it was me I still would put a voltmeter on it to check before tapping into the wriring loom.

Also you would have to run wires to the handbreak within the center console.
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

2002 Carrera 4 Cabriolet. Just installed Bahntech top control module, which allows me to open/close top with one push of the switch instead of having to hold it.
The module also allows me to operate the top at speeds of up to 25mph if I connect the blue wire of the module to a "speed sensor" wire in the car. In the papers that came with the module, the speed sensor wire is described as a blue wire going to the radio (for a '97 Boxster). I have PCM.
Does anybody know where I can find a speed sensor wire? and what color is it in a 2002?
Picture of my dashboard now:
Picture of the PSM switch. I'm sure they don't mean the blure wire to the right. Do they?
Picture of the Bahntech top module correctly installed (I tested it) without the speed function connected (it's the coiled blue wire on the right)
So please can someone help me?
I think you want the "A wire". This is the Grey wire with pink stripe on it
located in the power connector that connects to your Radio or Sat Nav.
However, there's a discussion that might help you some more on renntech here:

I just installed the Bahntech one-touch last night. What a great product! I wish my car had come with it.
The only purpose for the blue wire is to keep you from opening the top at >25 MPH. I didn't bother with it since I'm not stupid enough to be trying to open the top at freeway speed - and since I still have to pull the parking brake up a click to operate the top insures that won't accidentally bump it reaching for my coffee at 80.
At $150 every cab owner should have one of these!
I am prety certain the one you want is in either brown or black connector.
One connector is for all the speakers (8 wires) the other is for power. This has the grey pink wire your after. If you have a volt meter you can test it simple enough.
According to Toolpants, it's pin 24 on the balck 26 pin connector!
Since the PCM unit is the top one in the picture (the one made by Siemmens) I'll tap the grey/pink wire in that one.
The bottom unit is made by Becker and has the FM antenna going to it. So that would make it the radio.
Thanks Toolpants!!
Hmmm....
Problem is I don't have PCM1. The only connectors available to me were the two standar ISO connectors to the becker head. The grey/pink wire I used for the A wire to my Blaupunkt sat nav unit was in the 8 pin black connector at pin 1. This is slightly hidden in your picture by the antenna wire.
Maybe they are both same thing. In fact I would put a bet on it that they are. If you think about it, the speed wire is also the one you cut (grey/pink) in the loom at the back of the cab top for the top-close on move hack. This is the same colour A wire in both the connectors your seeing in the dash. It makes sense. The speed wire (or A wire) is grey/pink throuout the car's wiring loom. That's my hunch anyway.
If it was me I still would put a voltmeter on it to check before tapping into the wriring loom.
Let me know how you get on. I am off to bed ZZZzzzzz.........
Scouser, did you do the handbrake mod yet?
It's next on my list, but I am not very mechanically inclined, so I would like to follow in somebody's footsteps rather than lead.
Ar you talking about taking the brown/yellow wire to ground while the cab top button is pressed for the cab-top on move hack?
No not yet. But it will work because I tried it with a length of wire for proof of concept. The issue is that it ain't so simple. It will require a relay to be placed in the circuit so that it forces the brown/yellow wire to short to ground when the cab top button is pressed. This requires some thought as you will have to also power the relay. Also you would have to run wires to the handbreak within the center console. So it isn't an easy hack.
But me thinks there is an easier and smarter way: I think I may be able to emulate the bahntech device.
I reckon the bahntech device monitors current in the supply wire found at the cab top button in the dash. It senses the current drop and then it knows the operation (open/close) has completed. I can fairly easily replicate such a device. This would allow one touch operation. The same device can bring the hanbreak wire to ground at the same time to allow the operation to take place on the move.
Watch this space..... ;-)

Actually I think the Bahntech device is sort of a electronic chronometer.
Once pressed, it keeps the circuit closed for a certain period of time.
In my case, I had them program it for 14.5sec to open, and 20sec to close. That way, when the top goes down, the windows stay down, and when the top goes up, the windows go up as well.
I'll pass on the parking brake hack. It seems way beyond my meager skills.
