Is there an easier more recession conscious way to fix this, ie just replacing the stalk?
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Hi there, I think I just nicknamed my car "Nagging Injuries". I have all sorts of stupid stuff break on me, all the common problems with the 996 you can name off the list, they pretty much all went, ignition switch (wouldn't release the key, had to park the car outside, doors unlocked and key in ignition), light switch (wait 5 mins before litronics go on) etc.
Now it's the stupid signal stalk, the left turn signal wouldn't return the position after a turn and then right turn signal doesn't even stay up, the little plastic piece broke off, fell and dropped on my leg. I read some stuff on fixing it, have to replace it with the stalk housing, have a few questions. Is there an easier more recession conscious way to fix this, ie just replacing the stalk? My car has cruise control and the on board computer, does this mean I have to get the housing with 4 stalks to get all my features back? Thanks in advance!
that site is funny.... do you think they actually sell anything? seems a little spendy for gag gifts ($30 for seasonal air - but the "mother of all subwoofers" for $145,000 seems fair)
