Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.
Discussions that suspect a cause
1
0 original-poster resolution reports. Counts can overlap; they are not unique people or a success rate.
0 discussions have direct query context; 0 report a fix in that context. Other evidence may inherit the discussion’s subject.
Suspected cause
All those cars were probably checking you out because they figured if you weren't going 100 mph there was probably a good reason, like somebody watching.
Leading evidence: 'good reason, like somebody watching' (no explicit attributable resolution; this is a reported action or suggestion). Across 1 matching discussions, the most frequently mentioned possible cause is 'good reason, like somebody watching' (1 discussions; 0 report identifying it and 1 suggest it). The most frequently discussed action is 'Replace marker light in front' (1 discussions). For that action, 0 discussions report a resolution and 0 report an unsuccessful attempt. No action has an explicit, attributable resolution report under the current rules. These are forum reports and suggestions, not a confirmed diagnosis.

Probably a smart move on your part not to take a brand new toy to the limit (at least not before you get used to the handling).

That said, you should look into changing the marker light in front from orange to white, they are like $25...
These are separate views of the same evidence. Frequency alone does not establish a fix, and these counts must not be added together.

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

It took me several hours to get used to the ride and where things are, especially the key ignition being on the left hand side. I felt there is so much to learn about the car.
On Saturday morning, I took it to the Fremont deal for PDI, and I was kept waiting for 30 minutes before a service rep. would talk to me. I finally got fed up and took off. I was warned by my friend about the service in north Cal Porsche dealer.
Since the car has 18,500 mi and has the 15,000 mi service done, I decided not to do PDI until I hit 20,000 mi. Good idea?
I will post pictures soon.
Thanks, everyone.... I have a lot to learn from you all...

P.S. On the way down, I was chased by cars range from truck, suburban to M3. They would slow down and sped away as if they are challenge me to race them. CHP finally caught up with some of them.
NICE NICE NICE! That combination always looks FANTASTIC!
You couldn't have picked a better time of year to buy a cab.
I sense some Napa, Tahoe, Hwy 1, Gold Country in your
immediate future!
Happy Trails,

Henry - Welcome. Just a reminder that the PCS SB region has a breakfast this Sat morning at Camarillo airport. Usually about 30-50 cars are there. (Some people, too!) If you decide to go, try to be there before 8:30 as parking at the edge of the taxi ways is getting tight.
Dave
Congratulations!
How did you drive back to S.Cal...by I-5?

Enjoy!
If you don't mind, could you post or PM what you finally agreed to as a price. Since I have a similar model, I'm interested. (BTW, it is a 2001 model? You posted both '02 and 2001.)
Sorry about the previous posting... My Rennlist membership is processing.. in the meantime

Congrats! Beautiful car...
Beware of the mod bug, once you get bitten you won't be able to stop. That said, you should look into changing the marker light in front from orange to white, they are like $25...
Get used to peole wanting to race...it'll happen alot...
Congrats. It is a beautiful car. I just bought my 02 Cab as well. Mine is black.
Mod bug is very contigouus.. can't stop, especially after reading all the posting on this web site, ylou want to keep updating things one after another, like the aero kits, suspension, exhaust, etc...
Enjoy the ride, and get used to it for all kind of drivers to race you or try to race you...
Just drove home in the new ride. Proud new owner of a 40th Anniversary with Nav and CD changer, absolutely AWESOME! This is my 1st Porsche. I said when I graduated college that I would some day own a 911, 3 years ago had to settle for an Audi TT first, which I thought was awesome. I cannot wait to really learn how to drive this machine. Thanks for all the help and advice.
