Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

10 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Jury is still out, cant decide if I like it or not. By pass pipes by the way.

POST 2Original post

I am not too sure I like it myself, it almost sounds truck like.

POST 3Original post

Not trying to be rude, but sounds kind of like this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZDkZULNYTpA ... I was actually thinking of getting bypass pipes, they seemed to sound good in all the other videos I've seen. Thanks for saving me, lol.

POST 4Original post

Targa? Nice. Beautiful area too; look slike our Parkway here a little. I like how your first video was right in front of a passing Liking or not liking BPs I think is somewhat subjective. Too loud for me might be just right for you. I like the tone, but not the volume, but again, that's me. Leave em on for a couple weeks; if you don't like em, reversal is not too big of a deal.

They actually sound great. The problem is it's just loud as he||, ha. The driver shouldn't have upshifted in that 2nd video..... Re-do that video in fly-by mode at 6000rpm, that ought to do it.

good boy, say something NICE If you are going to run them, you have to keep the RPM up higher....you sound like you are running between 2-3 grand..... I almost never drive that low, my "normal" cruise is closer to 4k RPM my thought is less work for the motor to "pull" if its spinning than if it has to wind up....less stress on the internals - thats just me though Took off my by-pass pipes.... loved them (for a week) I need a new video of my set up - but this was when I first put it on. This is a MKII hack on 3.6 cans in a 3.4

POST 9Original post

Bypass pipes are for when you spend most of your time wide open above 6000rpm, otherwise it just sounds like a truck.
