I agree - I got a $500+ CF shifter **** for $250 on e-bay. Very slick and install takes about five minutes.

I actually like the std, plain vanilla shifter, I just wish there was a way to add an aluminum horseshoe to it. There is a black/alum shifter on ebay right now, as of last nite it was just over $200. RJM, basically the shifter boot pops out, just pry from the back and it should pop up, then you pull the boot up over the **** and you'll see a screw holding the **** and boot on...
