Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

When the top is down I can't see a thing at night, no big deal to me, I can always use the camera on the AVIC-N1 !
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

I am thinking about putting Huper Optik on my Targa and have a few questions:
I would like to put something on the rear window but I am really worried about visibility when the Targa top is open - anyone have any experience? Does this cause more distortion? Does it make it too dark? Which film would you use (30-40-50%)?
I don't think I will do the top glass because I have a sunscreen and I am worried about visibility.
Which film for the sides (30-40-50)? (I don't want it too dark, just want a little protection
and the look
.
Off topic, anyone put Huper Optik on their house?
Thanks!
Dam Funny you should mention this, I was just talking to my buddy about this yesterday, as I see it, I really can't see to dam well out of the rear glass when the targa top is down anyway, so why do I care ? Like a french race car driver once said "I don't need to look out of my rear, I don't care what's behind me" I tend to agree - I will also tint my Targa, light on the back and I little heavier on the side windows. I plan on not tinting the top
Good point. I don't drive that often with the top open but I did this morning and the visibility is lousy. I'm thinking about 50% Huper Optik now on the sides and back, partly because of Calif. restrictions.
However, still worried about possible "distortion" as opposed to just darkness.
I went with 30% tint all around on my Targa, I did not do the top as it is factory treated, everything matches beautifully. When the top is down I can't see a thing at night, no big deal to me, I can always use the camera on the AVIC-N1 !
What I love about the 30% tint is that it really brings out the shape of the Targa body and the color ( seal grey)
Cheers
carbon_00 - Thanks. Any pics of the rear and side of your car? I'd like to see what the tint does with the look of the Targa. BTW, mine is Arctic Silver.
