Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Just got back from work now (around 10pm) and when I was parking my car I noticed a 996TT that was not normally in my parking garage... I got out and took a look, and as I was doing so, a man in his 70's or 80's asked me what I was doing.
Turned out he owned the car and was picking it up after an evening at the theatre. I told him it was a stunning specimen and pointed out mine. He said he prefered my color to his (some sort of blue).
He asked how I liked it, and I started blabbering about how much I love the car and how it makes my commute wonderful and all sorts of things, I realized I was talking too much, so I asked if this was not his first porsche...
He said that it's his 4th and "these cars are so addictive, I haven't been able to sell any."
That about sums it up for me. I think I just realized that I might not sell any.
I agree totally. And they all have a different personality. I was really sad to finally see my 2001 C4 go. It drove so much differently than my c4s cab, not better or worse, just different. I really enjoyed driving that car.
My cab I'm keeping until the wheels fall off it. I'm going to try and add a 993TT in the near future but I'm going to have to build a 3rd garage.. ugh.
you know
its funny i always think of my cab as ay "starter porsche"
but i don't know....
I have been thinking lately of a gt3...as one i would keep forever....
This is my 3rd Porsche. I owned a 968 long time ago, and I ended up with whole lot of Mercedes for a while, before switching to 02 Boxster S couple of years ago. I love it so much but I sold it for something that would fit 2 sets of golf clubs and replaced it with a 2003 SL500, but I went back and got this C2 Cab and I love it...
Jason, I totally understand. The Mrs. and I go back and forth abouth my desire to add a GT3 to the garage! Needless to say I am losing the argument right now.
i've owned 6 porsches beginning in 1976. my old favorite was a guards red 1979 911sc--very fast car for its time. even though it was quite a bit tail happy it was my favorite car ever before my 2002 c4s.
that red 911sc sat unloved in the dealership from july 1979 to february of 1980 because it didn't have a sunroof. i only got to own it because the dealership was tired of their carrying charges! i felt like i'd died and gone to heaven when they cut me a deal i could afford!
the old 911's really taught you the importance of not braking on a curve--a useful lesson for any car. it's good that 996's are not so punitive because they are so much faster!
the 996's are much better cars but all 911's are special. among their best characteristics are excellent forward vision and an upright driving position. unusual in a sports car but very desirable.
i still remember the first 911's when i was 14--with luck i won't live to see the last one produced-- so far so good
Hey Doc!
Speaking of golf clubs, I just tried and my Big Bertha's drop right into the back seat, drivers in bag and all. In fact it looks like another set would drop in reasonably easy as well. I don't know if the Cab has the same back seat though. So, who needs more than that!
