Suggestion

My buyer for the car was hoping I would change it to black from grey and I asked the dealer and got a fast "no way" (I have a long relationship with the dealer and think they would have done it if they could), but I think PCNA sent them the top (as they probably would with your seats) and no changes allowed.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

6 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

I just received a letter from Porsche stating that my 2003 911 has been recalled. Anyone got this letter yet? Remedy: DEALERS WILL REPLACE BOTH THE FRONT SEATS. THE MANUFACTURER HAS NOT YET PROVIDED AN OWNER NOTIFICATION SCHEDULE FOR THIS CAMPAIGN. OWNERS SHOULD CONTACT PORSCHE AT [phone removed].

POST 3Original post

POST 4Original post

I wonder if you got the recall, would the dealer let you upgrade to sport seats and if so I wonder how much????

POST 5Original post

I recently squawked my way into a new top on the Boxster S under warranty. My buyer for the car was hoping I would change it to black from grey and I asked the dealer and got a fast "no way" (I have a long relationship with the dealer and think they would have done it if they could), but I think PCNA sent them the top (as they probably would with your seats) and no changes allowed. I would guess your dealer would have to take the replacement seats into their inventory and separately order sport seats, something they probably would rather not do. But you never know til you try - good luck.

POST 6Original post

are all 2003 996's without sports seats affected??
