Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

6 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I have the GT3 Seats in my 99' C4. I love everything about them except for the fact that I keep checking if they are pushed as far back as they can go to get a wee bit more leg room. All I want is another 2-3inches and i'd be in heaven. Are there any custom seat tracks out there that will fix this issue? There must be. What do the NBA players do that have the GT3s? They are way taller than I am. I am only 6'3" (but can STILL DUNK W/2 HANDS!!!). GO T'Wolves!!!!

POST 2Original post

Have you considered having thinner inserts made?

POST 3Original post

The seats are too pretty. Surgeons can now shorten shin bones. Expensive but effective. You wouldn't have to cut on the seats or seat rack. Just a thought.

POST 4Original post

What about a center console delete would that help?

POST 5Original post

Can you relocate the mounting points or add a track underneath with different mounting points? I had to have my mom's mb done (for different reasons, she's too short) but the end result was a very solid platform which bolted to the standard mounting locations. Worst case is you loose 1" of headroom. Heck of a lot cheaper than new seats.

POST 6Original post

Check the Brey-Krause seat mount brackets. At least O.G. Racing ( http://www.ogracing.com ) and Northstar Motorsports ( http://www.northstarmotorsports.com ) sell them. I'm having GT3 seats installed next week and I got the bracket, which installs on the factory sliders, lowering the seat by 1". Thanks to my height and the sun roof, I need that. There's also a floor mount bracket available, but guess that'd be only an option if it's just you driving the car.
