Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

25 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

After reading a number of posts on this stuff I too decided to get a batch of the stuff and try it out. I must admit, to date it is living upto its reputation of easy application and mirror like finish on the car. The exterior is extremely glossy and mirror like in its finish. I will be applying a couple more coats before I hit the road. Autumn is settling in and the rains are coming If it lives upto the reputation through winter I will be mighty impressed. Below are a couple of shots (not all the best but had to work with a sterile street as a backdrop.)

POST 3Original post

Am doing it tomorrow!! Beeuhhhh Beuhhhhhhhhh!!! Waz

POST 6Original post

I sampled my car tonite.. Now this stuff is really amazing, should it last! I applied some and the difference is so clear between the new mirror like shine and the old blurred cloudy shine.. Let's see tomorrow Waz

POST 8Original post

Wooooooooooow!!! What a product! Had to wait till nightfall coz the temperature falls just under 30deg-85degF (the temperature here all day is not below 40degC=104degF!) It is just amazing how the mirror like effect takes place as you wipe off.. I can see the moon, the stars, the clouds thru the luster.. Just a note though, that the paint acutally peels off as you wipe in the product and as you wipe it off.. Smells like kerosine Also as you wipe off, the product that stays on the clothes is more like sticky.. My hands even got sticky after a while.. so it seems this product is a sort of glue that penetrates pores and gives protection.. this is why it has to be cured 12 hours to allow the glue effect to dry off completely.. Am goin for another coat tomorrwo night!! Waz *yeah yeah pictures tomorow morning!*

POST 9Original post

POST 13Original post

My shipment is on the way too... Is multi-coating recommended? how long to wait in between coating?

POST 14 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Waz996, Whilst I was applying the RejeX you could smell something but not once it had turned the cloudy colour. Also the color coming off? No I didn't have that effect at all. Are you sure it wasn't when you went over a rubber bit that it looks like color only because they are black and probably dirty? I dont think they have a flammable liquid warning on the packaging so I doubt there is a petroleum base in the product. Are you sure it isnt that fact you have just had the car repainted recently that the paint has not cured completely yet? (But with 30deg days I doubt that)

POST 15Original post

You wait 8 hours before the second coat can be applied.. But i guess you should give it a coat, wait for a month or so in order that the previous wax on your car peels off together with the rejex coat.. then you use rejex only.. Arthur, the whole car turned haze, cloudy as the product dried.. i left it for 15 minutes and wiped everything off.. It might not be flamable and maybe the black residue on the cloth was from the rubbers around.. Once thing for sure, it has made a difference because the very first sample i made was much smoother than the other parts.. Waz
