Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

I have to say that the way things have changed under IB I don't know that I'll renew my subscription when it runs out.

Suggestion
Being able to adjust the height eliminates the risk of going so low that you rub if rear offset is maxed out.

Suggestion
I think if you're going to go out and spend money installing, and the concern is ride height, you might as well do the PSS9s, you should be able to find a deal on a set here or 6 speed.

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

So this is the progress so far on my new to me 996. I am looking for a more aggressive "Look" suspension. I seriously doubt I will ever track this car. This is just about my daily driver; I drive my truck a couple of times a week but mostly my 996. I drive somewhat aggressive at up to 80-100mph daily but few turns. 25 miles each way to work. I have 6 speed bumps to cross in my neighborhood.
I have searched till my eyes bleed and can not decide on what is best.
Here are the reasons I am asking your opinion:
Factory Aero kit
19" rims...19x11 on rear(if it matters)
C4 cab.
Btw I don't want to spend over 1k for suspension. I would love a set of Pss9's but are too much for what I need. Maybe a used set if I could find them.

It would look much better lowered. However, you might have rubbing issues because it looks like your rear wheel offset is pretty aggressive from this angle.
Not all regions are the same, though. Sure, some are very active, but others are simply a social club with few other activities, and little incentive for someone to join. 20 years ago, it may have been the only place to get together with fellow Porsche owners and chat p-cars, but today, we have the internet for that.
Being as that I am new here I hadn't noticed yet that one could become a "Member"? Since the only other msg board I am on is my Land Rover msg boards, I didn't realize that I could pay for a membership here and have the ability to view more information as well as have access to other areas of the boards.
Thank you, jmla for reminding me about this. And I agree, if you can own a P-car, you can afford a M-ship. :-)
I think if you're going to go out and spend money installing, and the concern is ride height, you might as well do the PSS9s, you should be able to find a deal on a set here or 6 speed. Incremental cost to the RoW M030 is probably going to be 500 to 700 bucks. Being able to adjust the height eliminates the risk of going so low that you rub if rear offset is maxed out.
I don't know why you're lowering exactly, but FWIW if it's a street car I think it's a waste of money, unless you are doing it yourself (you'll need a spring compressor for the PSS9s), at which point hey whatever.
It looks like you've got 19" wheels on a car designed for 18s, if so those wheels and tires are probably larger than the stock diameter. You may want to consider keeping the current suspension to avoid wheel arch damage from a bad pothole, which I've seen happen to a number of lowered cars with oversize wheels. Your car would probably be at risk, since the suspension geometry was designed for factory wheels up to an 18" diameter and this is your DD. My $.02.
I know what I can afford, and what I can't or do not want.
I wouldn't try to tell others what to do, in this context, and know nothing about
anybody else's business, to comment on what they should afford or not.
My comment may have been a bit brash, but I stand behind it. I can understand having User status if you're new and just becoming acquainted with the site, otherwise you are just being cheap. I'm sure you will agree that this site is invaluable to P-car enthusiasts, so why not contribute a little $ to it's cause?
For the OP my 2 cents is leave your suspension alone.
With the 19s the car looks great already. There is no need to lower it.
Take the 5 grand you would end up spending on a decent suspension, installation, etc, and spend it on some other mods.
Did someone say Supercharger??
ooh Jambalaya, I help around here many times, with 6 X more posts than
you. My first post was to point out how the OP could not browse your dumb
*** links- again I was just helping out. However jambalaya, you could ask
your mummy if you are smart enough to know how Cheapo someone else is.
Now KMA.
I thought about against renewing my membership a few weeks ago when it was expiring. I decided against it at the end of the day.
Later that week I had to sell a set of mufflers on the 993 board and was warmly accepted. Given that its forum rules to be a member to sell anything on the board; it helped. At the end; its a personal choice and what you want to get out of Rennlist.
