Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I understand that the MY03 cabs can drop the top on the fly at speeds under 30 mph. Is there a way to convert an '02 cab to this operation (drop the top while moving)? Can the dealer accomplish this with a flash reprogram? Anyone have links to a hack or info on companies that provide this mod? TIA.

POST 3Original post

I just did it. Works like a charm (one touch w/the SharkWorks Touchtop) Here's a pic of the correct wire.

POST 4Original post

I installed the one touch switch, of course my 04 c4s cab can put the top down at 30mph - anyone drop the top going faster? I think 40mph would be much better

POST 5Original post

Riad - did you use the Sharkworks one touch unit? I just dropped them an email and they told me they no longer sell/make it... Any probs with the one you installed? I have an 04 C4S cab as well... Thanks

POST 6Original post

It's from Bahntech - http://www.bahntech.com The color of the wires were different so I had to match them up with the picture in the instructions, but it works perfectly.

POST 7Original post

Anyone hacked the top to operate with the remote? I had a tuner promise me that, but he has yet to deliver... ROW cars do that.
