Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

if you look at this company:
http://densionusa.com/merchant/merchant.mvc?
Screen=PROD&Store_Code=DU&Product_Code=F_Porsche_Fiber&Category_Code=IA_ Porsche
you can look around their site, see that they have systems for other cars, and are 'considering' development of a version of this icelink device that is compatible with the fiber optic bus of the porsche cdr-23 / 03 models.
whether or not they are actually capable of doing this from an engineering capability perspective is irrelevant and moot right now, just hope some people who are interested can add themselves to this (admittedly rather hopeless looking) 'wait list'.
go ahead, mabye one day they will make it? a shot in the dark i know, but right now thats all us 03'ers have. -
oh right, no affiliation with the company.

I'm on the waiting list but until then a modulator is better than nothing.
My gut says the MOST icelink will happen. The new BMW's use MOST and they have aux in for $100 and a simple plug in. I can't imagine its any more difficult than knowing the interface. The problem is volume, so we have to get on their list and make it worth their while.
Now to figure out what will incentivise Porsche/Becker. Probably, ala BMW, the interface would be in the head unit so you have a potentially expensive solution. I imagine icelink will use the CD changer connections so let's hope it comes to market.
well i dont care if it can only be fitted if there is no cd changer.
firstly, i dont have a cd changer,
and second, my ipod can hold about 2000cds worth of music so....
