What are your thoughts on front end protection on track days? I'm not a fan of the thin clear 'films' that help protect from stone chips, etc. At least with a bra I can put it on and take it off fairly easily. If you've bought a bra recently, and recommendations on places to buy? I wouldn't mind getting one to match the Guards red. Thanks, David

Use artists tape on track days...cover the front end, mirrors and lights...they usually sell it in different colors too, its basically masking tape. Then you just peel it off at the end of day. Depending on the bra and the speeds you hit, the bra can sometimes flap in the wind and mar the paint. If you are really married to the bra idea, a company called speed lingerie sells REALLY nice bra's that are color matched to porsche paint http://www.speedlingerie.com

I never quite understood the point of car bras. You strap an ugly piece of vinyl to the front of an otherwise beautiful car so that the next owner after you won't have any stone chips? Am I missing something? Steve 99 996

I was sure glad I had it on a recent trip to Birmingham, I'm going to start using it at the track again.
