Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

4 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

  • Rennlist: 1 discussions

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I have car coming to me, but my insurance says that cannot insure until I either accept delivery of the car. Anyone run into this problem. Do I just rely on certificate of insurance provided by carrier. Problem with carriers coverage is that act of God such as a hail storm may not be covered under typical shipper's policies.

POST 2Original post

Thats why they have covered transporters.....protects cars from hail etc

POST 3Original post

Key point is where you are accepting delivery. At loading dock?, or upon pulling off the truck in your driveway? Insurance during the transport would have to be covered by the party that owns it during that time. If it's still the seller, then don't sign to accept it until you've inspected fully.

POST 4Original post

I agree with redcab. Until you receive the car, and sign for it, its not yours (which is why your insurance won't cover it), so if something where to happen to it in transit, it should not be your problem. I had my car shipped up from Texas to NYC, in a covered carrier. No problems with the car at all.
