Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

He's looking for a GT2, one of the more sought after 996's, a car with not too many "issues" and a model that is on the increase already.
It would be a different story if he posted he was looking for a C2 3.4
I know that watching his driving videos makes me want one of those 70s 911. I love the close up shots showing rock chips and dents and watching the tachometer needle jump around.
I want the price to stay low on the 996 turbo though so I can buy one in the next 2-3 years.

I can just see it now: All of the sad, misguided 993 owners, having spent thousands and thousands more than they should have during the bubble; staring dejectedly at their engines, the spinning fan blade flinging their tears all over the garage floor..."WHY didn't I buy a 996 when I had the chance, before they all hit $100,000? Why God, why??"
Yeah, I know. As. If. A boy can dream.
Was at the same Cars-n-Coffee in Palos Verdes and asked Magnus if he found his 996 yet. He said he thinks he missed the boat on the GT3 and was thinking about shifting his attention to the GT2 (rarer still?). Was just a quick passing question.
There were a lot of great cars up there this past weekend. Then, from there, I went up to the Mullin Auto Museum in Oxnard, but stopped at the Malibu Country Mart for breakfast on the way up. While there, I saw this:
The guy in the orange hat is Jerry Seinfeld, and the dark blue car in the middle is his. He was with two of his friends talking Porsches. I tried not to be a complete tool and bug him while he was talking with friends, but he was nice about letting me take a closer look at the car.
Pretty sure the "gt3" he posted about is a rennlist member. Very sharp car. Absolutely love the lines of an early car with the aero bits...not that I'm biased.
I've been thinking it a while now, 996s will start appreciating soon. The 964 and sc were a terd not so long ago. We're just lucky and have the best of the terds :P
