Please help if you can!! I'm just about to complete my engine rebuild (996 3.4 early cable type 1999) and am installing inlet manifold and wiring loom etc Before I go any further please let me explain, I bought my car with a broken engine and the guy had started tinkering so there were a few things missing and I'm thinking this may be one I didn't realise about Basically I have the whole engine assembled with all the main ancilliaries driven by the belt installed on the front, behind this lot I have the oil cooler on the left looking from flywheel side and the vacuum canister on the right I have then installed the inlet manifold and plugged in all available plugs from the loom to the relevant sensors etc but have ended up with two two pit female type plugs with metal clip on side and possibly a spare vacuum port from a y connector in the canister, am I missing something that sits in this area as the wires from the loom indicate this vicinity?? I don't think my car has the air pump ?? Any help much appreciated!!
