Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

I'm just curious I wouldn't change anything on my Car because some people don't like it.
Leading evidence: 'Replace anything' (no explicit attributable resolution; this is a reported action or suggestion). Across 1 matching discussions, The most frequently discussed action is 'Replace anything' (1 discussions). For that action, 0 discussions report a resolution and 0 report an unsuccessful attempt. No action has an explicit, attributable resolution report under the current rules. These are forum reports and suggestions, not a confirmed diagnosis.
Source reports, not a diagnosis or a success probability. Counts refer to discussions and can overlap.
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Just want to hear some feedback on my car because to some enthusiasts the mods are offensive but to 90% of people all 911's look all the same. I bought my car this way and I obviously don't mind these mods I rather like them. I just want opinions from fellow 996 enthusiasts I will be completely unaffected by any criticism or comments so be brutally honest
are you asking for opinions about
:
* headlight covers
* LED tailights
Personally, not a fan of either. IMHO, all that really matters is what YOU think/like.
P.S. The front lip, side skirts and color-matched rear bumperettes are nice. On the fence about the blacked out Carrera script
i think it looks great lowered and the dark tint around the headlights looks good too on that color car.
i never liked those wheels but to each his own
why care what anyone thinks of your car?
Yes, I was asking about those items some seem to be offended when it tries to look like a 997 but it doesn't bug me I just wanted some opinions. P.S. it doesn't have a front lip and I believe all 996.2 had colored bumperettes and good eye it does have an aero side skirt option from the factory
Thanks for the kind words, I don't care what people think about it. I'm just curious I wouldn't change anything on my Car because some people don't like it.
Dood, I have a cabriolet with full aero and its a tip......yup, the trifecta of what many despise in a Porsche (oh yeah, also have 19-inch rims). Obviously, I did not care one bit about what OTHERS would think or say. Bottomline, its what you like.....it is your money afterall.
Personally I think it looks great. There are several things that can be done to update the 996 and your fortunate to find one with most of them done. I really would be too concerned with what other folks think unless your goal is to have it judge during a concours or something.
I think the wheels suck and you should sell them to me for $300....ok ok, $320. Send me a PM. I figure I have to look out for a fellow Porsche owner.
Saddest car day in my life when my race car PY Type R #0324 was sold. Like your CW in the background.
I really like the look of everything, and I'm pretty jealous you don't have to have the front plate! The side skirt wasn't something I gave much mind to, but its a nice touch for sure.
I like it, except I'm not a fan of the darker tint on the rer windows. (There was a recent thread on this issue.). I think those wheels look far better than the ubiquitous turbo twists. I have a black '02 C2 with the same wheels, and I was so happy it didn't have twists. By the way, the back Carrera script is stock.
If you like it that's all that really counts, unless you're more intrested in resale or restoring it or something. I mean somethings I've seen done to cars I don't agree with or don't find tasteful, but that doesn't mean it can't be someones thing and something they and others enjoy.
Personally, I like the stock headlights and taillights, and I'm not a rim person too much so whatever was stock is good enough for me. Not that I'm all about stock, but it seems, at least with these cars, they did get it pretty good from the factory and don't need much if anything to dress them up.
I think it looks great. I wouldn't go for the headlight covers, but then my car is silver and I think it would look odd. I have the same side skirts and love that look, especially with the car lowered.
That has to be the ugliest thing I have ever see. What kind of a dumb *** miserable looking................ tree is that in the background?
Car looks awesome by the way. Love the wheels
I get grief (on Porsche forums) for having the "wrong" wing on my 996, for having "baller" rims, and so on, and so on. In real life, people think the car is amazing. So, forget about what the Internet thinks - enjoy your car and enjoy making it your own.
My "wrong" 996:
Agreed! Unless you're going the concours route, just do what you like to your car.
Personally, I wouldn't have chosen those mods, but I do find them tastefully done - note the difference here between "I don't like it personally" and "it sucks". There is a difference.
