Coverage and how to read this overview
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.
17 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

Jesting? On RL? Say it isn't so! Having had to deal with a business client disaster (crashed hard drive) the last two days has left me with little sense of humor. Sorry, I wasn't in more of a RL frame of mind. I'll try better....
The pictures is actually a real picture from a guy I know who has a shop in Buffalo, NY (Black Forest Motorsports). He is doing a brake job on a MB GL450? and this is actually what arrived today from the parts guy......guess it wasn't an OEM part!
I reckon he could just dremel off that "extra" lug and finish up the job...
My wife and I played a round of "spot the fewest lug nuts" in Egypt, since most of the cars there are absolute crap. We saw quite a few with just 2 lug nuts, but never the elusive single-nutter. But I know it's out there.
