Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

0 original-poster resolution reports. Counts can overlap; they are not unique people or a success rate.
0 discussions have direct query context; 0 report a fix in that context. Other evidence may inherit the discussion’s subject.
Leading evidence: 'Clean bbs' (no explicit attributable resolution; this is a reported action or suggestion). Across 1 matching discussions, The most frequently discussed action is 'Clean bbs' (1 discussions). For that action, 0 discussions report a resolution and 0 report an unsuccessful attempt. No action has an explicit, attributable resolution report under the current rules. These are forum reports and suggestions, not a confirmed diagnosis.
Source reports, not a diagnosis or a success probability. Counts refer to discussions and can overlap.
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

i thought i would like them on my car but i don't. they are beautiful wheels, but i just don't think they look good on the car. would sport classic II's look better? would the bbs LM look better? how about the RH Allurad AL Cuprad wheel (bit diff than mine)?
i'm at a loss, plus i feel miserable that i spent all that money and i'm not happy.
please help.
No offense IMHO those wheel should stay with the period cars... They are the best looking wheel on the 968 series (Factory Turbo S cars came with the Speedline version) My 968 had a similar kinesis 3.6 look wheel. You are going to take a major hit on those wheels if you decide to sell them... Unless the company you bought them from will take care of you since they are virtually new. I know the 968 guys would jump on them.
There are a ton of wheels to choose from it will drive you mad...
There is a GT3 wheel I was thinking of but for the life of me I can't find it... I saw it a month or two ago on ebay and I said if I had to buy wheels again that would be my #2 choice (behind the formula GTs) It think it was called something like competition GT3 or something like that. It looked like a GT3 wheel but it had a lip and exposed rivets. Maybe someone who knows this wheel can help? It is a sweet wheel. I also like the RUF wheels...
Here you go I figured it out... Porsche 19'' Challenge Wheels
I would prefer 18's if they made them...

personally, I love the BBS LM, but am having a problem finding them in a 18" size that will fit a C4S
That was a good link with lots of pics with different rims. I think almost any rim by HRE still looks the best. Especially with the lip that you can have on the C2 in high polish. I hope to have those soon, not sure which style yet. For now I just have the 5 star ultra light carrera rim.
unbelievable. after all of this, my wife says she likes this best
and this second best
will look to see what the local wheel guys give me in trade for my 2 week old
unless someone wants to buy them from me, but that might be a logistical hassle.
thoughts on the above choices?
I like the looks of the sport-technic (option #2 from your wife). But her first choice is significantly lighter.
I have those wheels (the Carrera II 18s) on my car, and I don't always like the way they look, honestly. I'm thinking Fikse, because they are still light and are very well built. Have you looked at those? Fikse had a nice presentation at our PCA meeting last Thurs.
oalvarez,
A wheel choice is too personal for others to choose. There are many nice cars on this board with some awesome wheels, however, at the same time there are some cars with with wheels you couldn't pay me to put on any car of mine. That said none of them are wrong. It is just my preference. We each have individual taste. Go with what you like. As long as you like the look who cares what anyone else thinks..they aren't driving it or paying for it.
Thanks for the comments, Bet....the thing is, I don't really like the wheels on the car (i like the wheels, but not on my car). why i asked for other's opinions, why i pinged my wife, just trying to narrow down the choices. it's interesting that when i put the wheels on, many people said the car looked great, then when i put out a follow-up message saying i didn't like the wheel, many came out and said they really didn't fit the car. obviously what makes the world go 'round, but at this point, i would love to get as many opinions as possible.
as of this moment, the car will probably come home with the Carrera Factory Light 18's.....
