Read evidence and context
Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.
Discussions that contain suggestions

0 original-poster resolution reports. Counts can overlap; they are not unique people or a success rate.
0 discussions have direct query context; 0 report a fix in that context. Other evidence may inherit the discussion’s subject.

Warm enough not to spin them...Cold enough to use your heated seats.
Leading evidence: 'Use heated seats' (no explicit attributable resolution; this is a reported action or suggestion). Across 1 matching discussions, The most frequently discussed action is 'Use heated seats' (1 discussions). For that action, 0 discussions report a resolution and 0 report an unsuccessful attempt. No action has an explicit, attributable resolution report under the current rules. These are forum reports and suggestions, not a confirmed diagnosis.
Source reports, not a diagnosis or a success probability. Counts refer to discussions and can overlap.
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

I want the four seasons, but I can't stand the wait!! Took the C4S out today in 28 degree weather, and spun all 4 summer tires getting too aggressive! Looking back, it may have looked cool, but it took all the fun out of it at the time. I may have to buy a third set of wheels and tires for winter. Aaaaaauuuuuuuuuuggggghhhhh!!!!!!!
I can't even stress how much of a difference winter tires make... if you live in cold weather states invest in a set of tires, even if it doesn't snow the rubber compound is better suited for cold weather.
I also feel your pain.. my 04 C4S Cab still has the hard top on and I'm completely freakin out with this weather... first day I see forecasted for 50 degrees I'm taken the hard top off - may not be able to put the rag top down but that's my metric and I'm stickin to it!!
palting you just need to sack up and move to sunny *** az!
I have a couple extra bedrooms I'll make you a deal on rent
plus you could school a newbie track junkie into shape!
Be careful with the summer tires if you are in snow as my friend had a 540 degree spinout and did major damage to the body and suspension of his c4s. He was going 30kph and took his foot of the pedal and that caused him to lose control. I was surprised to hear this myself given it is AWD and has PSM. I sold my c4s before I got to test it in the snow, thankfully.
I know from my Audi days, that Quattro with summer tires is definitely worse in snow than my rear wheel drive Mercedes with winter tires. Of course, a week later I had winter tires on the Audi.
After that experience, I'm a big believer that tires make a bigger difference than AWD or any traction control system.
