I am potentially looking at machining the footrest I got from Gert to keep the set uniform but it is annoying that the RHD footrest is so different.

Anyone else out there installed Aluminium pedals in a RHD car? If so what the hell have you bought for a footrest pedal? I am potentially looking at machining the footrest I got from Gert to keep the set uniform but it is annoying that the RHD footrest is so different. Gert did offer to take it back but I would like to try and tailor it for the RHD footrest. Regards Arthur

We call it the dead pedal in the US. As you have noticed it is smaller on your car compared to a LHD. You might try the UK Boxster board since the 996 and Boxster pedals are identical. http://forum.boxa.net/index.php?act=idx The funny thing is I saw a set of 4 pedals on US ebay last year and they were for a RHD. Must have been sent to the US by mistake. No one bid on them. Jeff
