Me: "Checked my pressure at 28psi, can you guys get it up to 44psi for me?"
Leading evidence: 'Check pressure at 28psi, can you guys get it up' (no explicit attributable resolution; this is a reported action or suggestion). Across 1 matching discussions, the most frequently mentioned possible cause is 'max allowable, you don't want' (1 discussions; 0 report identifying it and 1 suggest it). The most frequently discussed action is 'Check pressure at 28psi, can you guys get it up' (1 discussions). For that action, 0 discussions report a resolution and 0 report an unsuccessful attempt. Alas, they didn't have the exact same tires that I'm running all the way around (Bridgestone REO50 and NOT N-rated).

If it's a sidewall puncture or if the other tire is over half gone I would replace both of them.

Suggestion
If you can change your own oil or swap brake pads, then you can plug a tire.
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Hey guys!
I got a hole in one of my front tire last night, when I parked the car I heard air whining out, so I bet its a hole.
Anyways do I need to change both front tires as Im sure I wont get the same tire pattern as they were bought in USA.
Regards // Norbert
Take it to a tire shop, see if they can plug it. I had a tiny framing nail puncture my right rear sometime yesterday and it patched up fine for $25.
Try to make it a reputable shop though, the guys I went to (right next to where I work) tried to screw me a few different ways before I left.
Tech 1: "Oh no sir, we can't plug that tire, you're going to need a whole new set."
Tech 2 (nearby but not working on my car): "What are you talking about, a plug in that will work fine."
Tech 1: *Glares at Tech 2*
Tech 1: "Here's your receipt"
Me: "I told you I don't have TPMS, why did you charge me for TPMS servicing?"
Tech 1: "Oh my, let me just take that off!"
Me: "Checked my pressure at 28psi, can you guys get it up to 44psi for me?"
Service Manager: "You don't want it that high."
Me: "No, I do, it's recommended in the owner's manual."
SM: "Well that's probably the max allowable, you don't want that."
Continue this for 5 minutes until a tech tells me to swing by the open bay and he'll fill it.
Hey Van,
The car works fine, havent had any issues with it.
Only one thing after I installed coilovers and swaybars, I get freaking tweaking sound as hell from the front of the car, sounds it comes from the towers, not sure if its the coilovers and should they sound so much?
+1 on this.
If your tires are pretty new(aka < 1K miles), then you can get away with swapping 1 out. Just make sure it's EXACTLY the same product....if that is even possible for you as you stated.
I've had a rear plugged with no issues.... in fact I had the opposite experience as Dave.
I went into my local tire shop with a new rear tire in hand (I'd gotten a screw in my tire) and they looked at the tire on the car and told me to put the tire away as they could plug... the sign of a good place is when they save you money. That rear tire sat in my basement for another 18 months until the rears needed changing out.
I have been successful in plugging and if that's not enough, putting an innertube inside the problem tire. Always try to match with the other,--perhaps putting an innertube in the other one as well.
Tire plug kit from AutoZone: less than $20.
If you can change your own oil or swap brake pads, then you can plug a tire. It really is
that
easy. I got tired of the morons at Discount Tire Co telling me that I needed to buy new tires when they could clearly be patched (or plugged). If the tire has a nail (or screw) and it's nowhere near the sidewall, then it could be plugged. Not wanting the liability is one thing, but trying to get rich off of me is another.

Okey guys, Ive been at a tire shop and they fixed the hole for 30 bucks. My first reaction was wtf he was doing when he made the hole twice as big as it was, but I guess thats how u do it =)
Van, Yeah I think its my freaking coilovers that make the sound, its like a rubber squicky sound.
I will make video to show when I have some time.
If your tire has only a few 32nds of depth gone I would look into dismounting it from the wheel and patch/plugging. If it's a sidewall puncture or if the other tire is over half gone I would replace both of them.
Interestingly, I got a flat tire in Bridgehampton this past weekend. Coincidentally, I had gotten a flat out there last summer also. I'm guessing that with all the construction, there are screws and nails lying all over the place.
Anyway, point is, my right rear tire needed to be replaced. Alas, they didn't have the exact same tires that I'm running all the way around (Bridgestone REO50 and NOT N-rated). Of course, the Porsche dealer out there told me that I really needed to swap out the two rears for an N-rated tire. All they had were Pirellis. It took some might cajoling, but I got him to just exchange one tire. So, I'm driving around with two different tires on my right rear axle. It feels fine. I'm guessing that unless you tracking this car at the limit, I definitely wouldn't get suckered for the replace-two tactic unless your other 'good' tire is getting well-worn. Just insane. But, in fairness, I am anxiously waiting for 10k miles to pass so I can go to the Michelin PS2. I just hear too many good things.
