Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

2 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I have been lurking around the forum -- went out again to look! I looked at an aniversary edition- - sticker at 94,085 -- sell for 88,500 They also had a basalt black on black 03 C2 -- it is a managers demo -- almost 6k miles. Was a nice car -- 18 Carrera wheels/ PSM/Xenon leather sports seats -- alu center console -- red seat belts and stitching. Would have liked the heated seats -- selling for 62,900 -- this is a certified car. My brain just can not get past the HUGE drop in value -- some of the 03 cabs and targa's are over 20K -- they had a orient red targa 8k on the clock -- original list 89K -- listed for sale for 68K I must admit on a new car the balloon payment was better then the lease -- does anyone know if you can get gap insurance somehow -- dealer says they can not sell it! With the huge value drop, you are hanging out there in the first couple of years!

POST 2Original post

Check around. Gap insurance should be available. I got one with State Farm just by asking. Depreciation is just horrible. But, that is true for ALL new cars in this price range that were sold in the last 2-4 years.

This is a source reference. Confirm exact model applicability in the original material.
