Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

And, as you probably also surmise - I don't enter into Sponsorship deals "lightly" - in fact - I have turned Sponsor dollars down, just because some vendors don't/can't live up to the expectations I set forth.

IRA Porsche, is one of the predominant Porsche Authorized Dealers nationwide - is offering new and used Porsche automobile sales, parts, a locator service and even on-line requests for parts quotes - all at tremendous pricing for Rennlist site users and Members.

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

It is with a great deal of pleasure that Rennlist announces its newest Strategic Site Sponsor - IRA Porsche (
https://rennlist.com/ira/
). IRA Porsche, is one of the predominant Porsche Authorized Dealers nationwide - is offering new and used Porsche automobile sales, parts, a locator service and even on-line requests for parts quotes - all at tremendous pricing for Rennlist site users and Members.
While Rennlist has worked with several other Porsche Dealers previously, IRA Porsche will have a primary and unique position within our site, and Rennlist Members will have access to a number of IRA Porsche products and services.
Alfie Desfosses, of IRA Porsche comments "We at Ira Porsche are excited to join Rennlist as a Strategic Site Sponsor. Rennlist is a tremendous resource for all Porsche enthusiasts, and we feel that dealership involvement will be a "win-win" for both IRA and the Rennlist community. Located just north of Boston, IRA Porsche has earned the reputation for tremendous customer satisfaction coupled with excellence in sales and service. We hope that you will give us the opportunity to assist you in your Porsche ownership experience. After all, there is no substitute."
John Dunkle, of Rennlist adds "This announcement is only the first in a series as we further develop our strategic relationship with IRA Porsche. Given the Internet and the Rennlist Community that has grown within that media, I see no reason why Rennlist and IRA can't offer numerous programs that benefit the site and each of its Members. For example, given the plethora of technology available, imagine a "virtual showroom", or a personalized Porsche Locator Service, or "being there" for a PPI, even if you are sitting at your computer - thousands of miles away. Using the best of Rennlist along with one of, if not the predominant Porsche Dealerships - IRA Porsche - many exciting things can be offered within this Strategic Sponsorship.
I didn't buy my car at Ira, but I have been there for PCA events and it seems to be a great organization. Also, I have heard only good things about their service department from Porsche and Audi owners.
So, what is the deal with these great prices on new and used Porsches?
I can only hope that the Ira Porsche service dept. is better than the Ira Audi service dept., which was a travesty of service...based on my former experience and the experience that my husband had with them over the course of our owning three Audis.
Hi bpr,
Before announcing this Sponsorship, I actually visited IRA several times, including their service department and all their managers. Before casting aspersions, take some time and meet some of the Porsche TECHs that work at IRA. Talk to them, ask them questions - and they are just like you and me - enthusiasts. And they know their stuff.
Would I trust my Porsche there? Yep - and I did. The work ethic and quality were outstanding.
I can't speak for their Audi service department - as frankly - I don't own an Audi - so I can't respond to that point.
Geez John, why didn't you let me know about this before I sent my Cab to Naples for good?
Congratulations! I've visited Ira a few times with my Speedster and 993 and found them very responsive and supportive of a lot of Porsche activities.
Hmmm! Since I'm going thru wiithdrawal symptoms I may need some kind of Pcar to romp around...now I know where to go!
BTW, whose white 993 is that in your avatar?????
cared for exclusively by IRA
Hi John,
My wife, bpr and I have had an interesting history with IRA. To date we have bought 3 cars there and had all three serviced there. I have also recommended IRA to at least 5 friends who have bought Porsches and Audis there. The sales experience was absolutely top notch. The sales folks, and Rick Scourtas are all great to deal with. The service on the other hand was problematic to say the least. Once again the service advisers and manager were all great to deal with BUT the work done was sub-standard. I carry that over to the Porsche only because the work is all done in the same place. We had change stolen out of the ashtrays, folks smoked in the cars, the car were banged around, problems were never fixed or were fixed in a sub-standard manner. I found that I was diagnosing problems because the techs were claiming that things were fine... With this experience would we buy another car there - this would be a resounding YES, would we get a car - particularly a Porsche - serviced there - A resounding NO.

Hey Don...!
I TOLD you to leave your 996 up here..!! You can still ship it to me - yan'no...!!!
Also (this a "two-fer Reply"
)
Hi Ray..!
Seriously - thanks for posting that, and yes, I'm sorry you had difficulties there. Your story reminds me of another dealer I had a personal experience ago a long time ago - and when stuff like that happens, you sort'a want to go YELL at someone....!!!
The only thing I can reply with is that I don't know when that happened - or even if it's the same Service Manager or not? What I can say, again - as of a few weeks ago, it was my choice as to whether to trust the service department and the TECH. In talking to the TECH (remember - I turn my own wrenches, from engine rebuilds to normal stuff), as after the TECH and I "tested each others knowledge" (you know how that happens
) I found out in a lot of ways - he was just like me, you and the rest of Rennlisters - and had his own Porsche as well. I did get the impression that he only worked on Porsches as a Certified Porsche Technician, as that's what he indicated to me.
But, as I said - I don't know if that's true on the Audi side of the house at IRA or any dealership?
So here is the deal - when (notice I said "when"
) you get your next Porsche from IRA, if the service is NOT everything you expect - let me know, OK? As you guessed - I take the Rennlist Sponsors and the Rennlisters views of those Sponsors very seriously. And, as you probably also surmise - I don't enter into Sponsorship deals "lightly" - in fact - I have turned Sponsor dollars down, just because some vendors don't/can't live up to the expectations I set forth. Is that foolhardy?
Maybe from a business sense - but Rennlist really is only Jen and myself in our spare time - as there in no huge corporate staff to feed and tremendous overhead. So - we can afford to be picky, and we can also keep our day jobs... And for both of those, we can be very choosy about which vendors/sponsors we align ourselves with - as you also know, it's Jen's and my personal reputations "at stake" each day - in front of 250,000 Rennlist visitors, users and Members.. So - it's important to us.
Anyway - thanks for your comments about the IRA sales staff as well. Personally - I would agree. And again - if you do choose to get another Porsche, I would also be interested in your comments comparing your previous experience in the service area to what you may experience.
Seriously - my thanks again for your post!!
Best to you and all...
- John D.
I have not had good service with the last two dealers I've tried (Not IRA, your new sponsor). I'm thinking maybe I should get into the dealer business...I couldn't do worse! And the dealers I have seen seem to be making a very nice living...
