Read evidence and context

Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

6 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I've been speaking with Scott regarding his 1999 C4. VIN: WP0AA2994XS626065 The good: Full Carbon Fiber Package, Large Full Supple Leather, HI-FI Sound, 18" Black Sports Classic, Porsche Crests, CD Changer, 3 spoke wheel, Litronic Headlamps, Onboard Computer. He swapped the seats out for '02 Sport seats, and just completed the 60k service. 2 sets of wheels. The bad: 60,000+ miles and he's the second owner. Obviously out of warranty. For the price, it sounds like a great car. However, since I'm located in California, I'd like to get it checked out before I hop on a plane. Any recommendations re: a PPI in New Hampshire? Also, any thoughts re: this 996? Thank you in advance. Joseph

POST 3Original post

Where is the car? Maybe we can find someone via PCA North Country Region ...

POST 5Original post

you could always offer to pay for a ppi, when i sold my previous acura nsx(1996), the buyer was from out of state and paid for a ppi, which i happily set up, as a seller i was happy that there was a 3rd party to take away any of the concerns that the buyer may have had, i almost ended up doing the same thing when i got rid of my last nsx (2002)and instead traded it to IRA porsche when i bought my turbo, give them a call they are located in MA between boston and new hampshire, i am sure they can perform the ppi for you.

POST 6Original post

There is a Porsche dealer centrally located in NH called Nashua Porsche (Nashua, NH). They can do a PPI.
