Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

The X74 setup was used on the track (Willow Springs) - I found the set-up (combined with MPSC tires) to be really great.
Leading evidence: 'Use on the track (willow springs) - i found the' (no explicit attributable resolution; this is a reported action or suggestion). Across 1 matching discussions, The most frequently discussed action is 'Use ?) otherwise it sounds about perfect' (1 discussions). For that action, 0 discussions report a resolution and 0 report an unsuccessful attempt. No action has an explicit, attributable resolution report under the current rules. These are forum reports and suggestions, not a confirmed diagnosis.

Do either of the 2 people you know with X74 have any problems (too low for road use?) Otherwise it sounds about perfect.

Suggestion
At the settings I am currently using, I find the PSS9 set up to be slightly more compliant (softer) than the X74.
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

I am considering upgrading my '03 C2 to the X74 suspension. I would like to track the car periodically but the car is mostly street-driven. I will probably either go this route or PSS9, as I also want to lower the car, and don't trust the hit-or-miss experience with the RoW M030.
Forum searches reveal little about this mod.
1) If you have it installed, are you pleased with the ride height and firmness for road use? I'm wondering if the nominal 40mm drop in front and 30mm drop in rear may be too extreme for everyday use.
2) If you have experience with PSS9, how would you compare the two?
3) Does anyone close to Austin, TX have this installed?
The shocks are great but the springs aren't what I expected. The car didn't go as low as I would have thought (I don't believe that the drop was 40 and 30). You may just want to consider Bilstein shocks and aftermarket springs (H&R, Eibach, Techart, etc.).
I'm also very interested in pics with the X74 installed. My goals are similar to mb996s. I don't care if the car isn't very low -- in fact, I'd prefer ROW 030 height.
Can anybody contrast ROW030 and X74 from the perspective of handling and ride?
Thanks much.

), you'll see the height of my car with the X74. It now has H&R Club Sport Coilovers with H&R sway bars.
I have the X-74 on my '03 996 and the PSS-9s on my twin turbo. The X-74 is a huge improvement over the stock suspension (and the M030 suspension) - great handling, very flat, drastically improved cornering. I do have to be careful over virtually all speed bumps, driveways and anything else one can do a extremely low speeds. No problems with bottoming while driving though.
I found the PSS9 to provide a ride comparable to stock, but with greatly improved handling. At the settings I am currently using, I find the PSS9 set up to be slightly more compliant (softer) than the X74.

Both the X74 and PSS9s came from Gert.
