This is not a probability of success.

i recently changed the suspension in my C2 from H&R to PSS9s and although i had GT3 sways on both, the car is pushing something fierce now.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

5 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

i recently changed the suspension in my C2 from H&R to PSS9s and although i had GT3 sways on both, the car is pushing something fierce now. i "think" it used to be one from the end front and rear (it's been almost 2 years so i forget) and it's at the end on the front and one from the end on the rear. what is the appropriate action to dial out some understeer - away from the end on the front until it's how i want it?

This might help: http://www.rennsportsystems.com/1-e.html

POST 3 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

thanks viken. it's just the opposite of what i thought which is kind of what i remember - that it was counter intuitive. i need to stiffen the rear.

POST 4Original post

Ben, The answer might be to stiffen the rear but as I recall the PSS9 dampers are adjustable and your solution may lie there. What your next step should be really depends on where in the corner you are experiencing the understeer. At turn in under braking? (not enough compression in front or not enough rebound in back) As you are going to acceleration? (too much rebound in front or too much compression in back) At the limit of corning adhesion? (sway bars), When you stomp an the gas around a city corner? (too much super charger!! ). I'm far from an expert but I've dealt with 996 suspension enough to know that the answers are not generally as simple as move the sway bar. If you could describe the situation where you are getting push, we might be able to give you more advice. On the other hand, if the PSS9s are not adjustable, ignore all this and stiffen up that back sway bar. It might do the trick. Jim

"At the limit of corning adhesion? (sway bars)" yep. "When you stomp an the gas around a city corner? (too much super charger!! )." lol
