Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

7 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 4 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

thanks guys. the dealer located it, and it was around $5.

POST 5Original post

Are you using it on a B&M shifter? I posted about this tool recently and was told that the tool did NOT fit the B&M shifter. Is this still correct?

POST 6Original post

It is not possible for it to fit the B&M/Porsche short shift lever style. When we made the DVD of the B&M installs I showed how to use the tool (called locking bridge) on the oem shift and then showed how I could not get it on the short shift. The short shift is way too 'fat' and too high for the locking bridge to clamp on to anything. Like putting a square peg in a round hole.

POST 7Original post

Forgot I took a picture of what the locking bridge looks like and why it will not fit on a B&M.
