Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

I used the stock tips, and they were installed as before.
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

The ghl rennlist offer was hard to pass up. So heres my take:
quality: they have a hand-wrought look to them. the workmanship is nice with good welds. The metal forming is not as perfect as the japanese stuff you see but its as good as anyone elses stuff. The cans are smaller and weigh less than the porsche parts (good) the guys at andial thought the overall quality was excellent.
sound: on a cold start they sound deeper at idle than stock. When warmed up and under load, the exhaust note is raspier and meaner, and more mechnical sounding than I remember the pse. In-car, the sound level is not much louder than stock (good) this is where I think the pse is too loud. overall the ghl sounds more like the exhaust now on the 3.6L car, and not as loud as the pse.
i like the result and wont be sending these back (2-week return policy) and the price is right ($679 delivered). im not into vanity or adding mods that dont improve performance, but I do think the car now sounds like a 911 and the slight weight savings is a plus.
Rob, congrats. I like the sound as well. I do find them considerably louder than stock, and love the sound at startup
. Did you not install the tips? I'd love to see pics of a good installation of the tips, I think that mine are slightly off-center.
Rob,
Glad you got the exhaust installed. I emailed you about coming over to hear mine, but I guess you just decided to go for it.
I'm liking mine more and more.
I used the stock tips, and they were installed as before. if i had to change them, the ghl pieces look like near-exact replicas of the pse and the price is better!
i would like to compare against eric's pse. if you go to cystal this sat. i'd like one of you guys to drive off in my ride so i can hear it 'properly'
