Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

The other types of tiles still have to be cleaned but dont have the shine.

I used a multi part epoxy system called Hard deck.

At the same time I could not find as many people who used UCoat-it as the other products.
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Would like to clean up the garage, and was thinking of installing interlocking polyprophlene tiles or other?? flooring advertised in some of the auto magazines.. any thoughts?/
Thanks in advance...
Heres what I use.
The tiles are Composite Vinyl Tiles (CVT), which can be purchased at any Home Improvement or Flooring store. The Manufacturer is Azrock VCT VS-300 (white) and VS-304 (black) and they are solid in color. The floor is first covered in glue (mastic) and the tiles are simply put down after the glue sets up. Very easy to do.
The tiles will hold up to water so you can drive on them any time. I put on several coats of floor wax to keep them clean. Some tire compounds can stain the tiles so I put a piece of clear plastic under each tire (roll the car onto them) if I dont plan on driving the car for a while. If they do stain, I just strip the wax and put down another coat. The tiles have been down for about five years with no problems. They will not crack if tools are dropped but may dent if a heavy concentrated weight is placed on them. For example a floor jack if lifting a car. I usually put plywood under the jack to prevent this from happening.
Andy - That is one great looking garage! I have already started looking up the flooring you mention. The gas pump is a great look. I saw some of them (they were perfect) at the auto show in Moultrie a couple weeks ago. The guy that sold them was from Tifton. He had a great selection. Anyway, thanks for the tour!
The floor looks awesome but sounds like it is too high maintenance for me. All I want to wax are my cars. I was thinking about putting down the epoxy paint in the spring. Any comment.
THanks
Bobby
I usually only have to strip and re-apply the wax once a year. Takes about 30 minutes. The other types of tiles still have to be cleaned but dont have the shine. The CVTs are less expensive too.
Chitownbob,
I applied an epoxy (UCoat-it) in mid October and am very pleased with the results. Obviously I have not had it down long enough to comment on durability. I choose UCoat-it because I wanted to do it myself and after researching the other possibilities I thought UCoat-it sounded like the best bet. I found lots of info and experiences with products from Groits, Home Depot, Rustoleum, Bahr, etc. I found some successes and I found some horror stories for everyone of the products. However, I could not find any failures or disappointments with UCoat-it. At the same time I could not find as many people who used UCoat-it as the other products. I could share more on the application process if you interested.
I have the Home Depot expoxy kit in one garage and it's not very good. It came up after a year or so; I don't do it again unless it professionally installed. For my large 2 car garage, that will cost $3K...
For my new garage I went with
www.kiwitile.com
and love it. As you can see, I even have the 4 post lift on the tile, no problems...
