To me (and probably any other P-car owner) that would indicated that I USE the car.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

5 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

  • Rennlist: 1 discussions

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Hi, I was hit by a clod while driving yesterday. By clod, I wish I meant a person so I'd have someone to be unhappy with but this clod was of the earthen type. The clod put two dime-sized dings just off center on my trunk hood. Looks like I took my index and pinky finger and poked the hood really hard. If you know the area, I was on 237W taking the onramp to 85South. The onramp is an uphill ribbon corkscrew kind of ramp. The clod flew from 85S and hit me while I was travelling on the uphill onramp. I checked traffic after I merged onto 85 and there were no obvious offenders nearby. :-( I have numerous chips on the nose of my car. To me (and probably any other P-car owner) that would indicated that I USE the car. These two dings make it look to me like I ABUSE the car. I want them fixed. I don't wish to experiment on my P-car and would like to know if anyone can recommend a good paintless ding removal service in the south SF Bay Area region. This should be easy as I can see the back end of the dings when I open the hood. Thanks.

POST 2Original post

I had someone from DENT PRO one time and he did an excellent job. It all depends on whos doing it. Try to get someone with many yrs of experience.

POST 3Original post

Although I don't live in your area, I have some experience with paintless dent removal. I recommend that you approach your local Porsche dealer for a recommendation. They surely have someone they work with to recondition used Porsches.

POST 4Original post

West Coast Dents 1032 Irving Street San Francisco, CA 94942 [phone removed] Not affliated, just a satisfied customer. One of their guys was at Devek Days, a big Bay Area 928 event, demonstrating his skill and removing dents from attendees cars, including a big one on my rear fender. He did great work, and was very careful with the cars. Talk to David or Justin
