Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. This is not a probability of success.

It would also indicate that the power plant will change enough in the 997 that a Turbo model requires some new engineering.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

2 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

A friend who owns a '93 Turbo mentioned to me the other day that the local dealership told him the '04 would be the last Turbo Porsche would produce for several years. Anyone else heard anything about that? It makes some sense as everything points to a 997 next year and it took a couple of years to bring the current Turbo to the market after intro of the 996 series. It would also indicate that the power plant will change enough in the 997 that a Turbo model requires some new engineering. I wonder if they will produce a wide body C4 if they do not have a Turbo to augment that common parts production requirement. Thoughts or amplification?

POST 2Original post

Porsche is being very quiet about the 997TT. Most feel it will be out in late 05 as a 06 model. It will unlikely be a 05 model which is when the rest of the 997 line-up is supposed to come out.

This is a source reference. Confirm exact model applicability in the original material.
